Pre-trial Research

When properly designed and conducted, focus group and mock trial research projects provide a significant return on investment. At Trial Analysts we pride ourselves on a practical approach to designing the jury research project that fits your specific case needs while adhering strictly to the principles of the scientific method.

Our approach begins with a focus on the quality and size of the research sample. Although it is possible to conduct research with very small samples, smaller samples produce greater sampling error and less reliable findings.

The second phase of the design process is to identify specific research objectives. Whether the goal is the assessment of case themes, a test of the persuasiveness of opening statements or witness testimony, or an evaluation of verdict probabilities, we will design a project that fulfills the research objectives while maintaining a strict scientific methodology.
